life of amoebas

Perhaps we should look at the little amoeba as the artist’s alter ego. It allows her to express in delicate and ludic way serious topics that concern her besides painting.  She, as a sensible artist, necessarily inscribes them into her images as an extension of her own spirit and anime. Tatjana Politeo’s colour black sparkles, it lives. We perceive it as a positive colour that in itself carries the dimmed power and energy, not dying and withdrawal. The colour black carries a message of the little amoeba that life must continue regardless of the obstacles that surround us.
